Angels Exist - They are Called Friends

I love this saying "Angels exist, but sometimes they don't have wings and are called Friends". I recently gave this plaque to my dear friend Shelley. We have been friends since we were five years old. She came to stay with me when I had my surgery. It was so great having her here to help me my first week home.

I feel heavenly angels with me and am blessed to be surrounded by my earthly angels/friends. You have completely blown me away with your love, prayers, cards, food, time, gifts, etc. I get choked up every time I think about your kindness.

My Jazzercise Tribe gave me 25 days of Recovery Gifts. I had a blue basket that I was instructed to put outside my front door every day (Dan called it the Gift Trap :-). Every day some angel put a gift in there. I received so many fun things, such as candles, facial masks, sweets, a prayer shawl, journals, socks, coffee mug, shirts, puzzle book, game, etc. Below are a few of them. I can't tell you how much fun it was anticipating what fun treat I would find each day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I feel you lift me up every day and I'm so very grateful!
