First I want to do a quick shout out to my family (Team Positive Grace) and my extended family the Hupps, for doing the Komen Walk in support of me. They raised a lot of funds for breast cancer - thank you to those of you that supported them and me. I didn't get to do the walk but met them for brunch after. It really meant a lot! Don't you love the Tshirts!?!

Today I had the rest of my hair cut off. It was falling out, my scalp was tender and it was getting annoying having hair everywhere. So my sweet hair stylist Cheri came to the house and gave me a buzz cut. It really feels good. I'm shocked at how much I look like my Dad! Cheri also trimmed my sassy new wigs. An angel at church gave me a human hair wig that looks like my real hair. I also bought a synthetic wig and a hat wig (basically a baseball cap with hair sewn in). The only thing I'll need to be careful of is not getting too close to the oven or I'll burn my bangs right off ...LOL.
I have my second round of Chemo tomorrow. The first round wasn't too bad. My main side effects were stomach related. Thank you for your prayers, your cards, your love, your support and your friendship. It means more than you know.
xo
