Who is that person?

One of the hardest parts of all this is looking at the person in the mirror. I don't recognize her. She looks so old it makes me sad. It can really do a number on ones positive personality. My sweet husband is so kind to still tell me I'm beautiful when I don't feel that way in the least bit. On a positive note I have been told I have a very nice shaped head. I don't know how that has anything to do with anything but at least I don't have a spike in the back of my head like the others in my family.

I'm half way through chemo - 3 down - 3 to go. Experiences are about the same although they say effects can be cumulative. My friend Holly went with me last time - that's really the highlight - having several hours to spend with friends. Terri is going with me next week on the 21st.

I hope everyone is off to a good start on their summer. I have several items on my summer fun list that I want to do. I have never ridden my bike on the Monon and I want to do that. I want to see a movie at the IMA - it's outdoors and you can take a picnic and tour the grounds which they now call Newfields. I want to take a canoe or kayak on Eagle Creek and then have dinner at Rick's and watch the sun set. What's on your summer fun list?
